Hello SheWrites Community! I'm an editor at Vela Magazine--an online publication of creative nonfiction and longform journalism written by women.

We started three years ago to address the gender byline gap by providing a space for women writers. We've just launched our first Kickstarter campaign, and we're hoping to raise $25,000 by the end of September so that we can start paying our writers. I'd love your help in spreading the word to your own writing communities, on social media, etc.
