The question can refer to any fictional character ever - tv, film, theater, sketch, book, short story, poem etc. The three that come to my head immediately are Seymour Glass, Dana Scully, and Severus Snape. They are such well rounded characters, contradictory characters in some respects, and often times keep you guessing. What are some of your favorite characters and why?
