DESCRIPTION:For the first time ever, the Los Angeles Alumnae of the ce
 lebrated Hedgebrook women writers' retreat are offering two days of cr
 eative workshops for writers and filmmakers open to the public. On Mar
 ch 6th and 13, 2010, seven classes will be lead by award-winning alumn
 i and industry experts on screenwriting, novel writing, the academic f
 ilm market, and financial planning. Classes will be held on the beauti
 ful Chalon Campus of Mount St. Mary's College in the Santa Monica Moun
 tains overlooking Brentwood in West Los Angeles. Enrollment is open to
  the public. Donations are tax-deductible and will go to support Hedge
