Comment by Anne James on January 20, 2012 at 8:55am I will likey come: I am a retreat sponsor for Tom Birdhttp://WriteYourBookinaWeekend-Really! So can justify promoting our Malibu August Retreat. Tom has been sponsored by WOW as well and I am getting back to being the writer I want to be. Sounds like an event to make a special retreat of my own out of!
Comment by April Katko on January 19, 2012 at 3:56pm I wish I could attend.
Kamy, thanks for sending out this announcement. I won't be able to attend but a few years ago I spoke on a panel here at AWP in Denver, and I also won the AROHO nonfiction award in 2009, so I would love to be there. Enjoy!
Would love to come but, alas, Chicago is too far away.
Wish I could attend the conference--but alas, Chicago is a long way from central Texas! There in spirit!

I wish I could attend this event. Kamy, thank you for letting us all know. I will be hosting my own event at the Berkshire Festival of Women Writers the night before, here in Great Barrington, MA. It is called ‘Out of the Mouths of Babes: an evening of mothers reading to others’. I have a blog series running on my site, featuring some She Writes authors in the next 2 months. So, while I regret not attending this great event, I will be supporting it’s mission “to support women’s writing” at the same time. Looking forward to news and tweets of this event. Thanks, Kamy. Love, Suzi Banks Baum
