In this interactive panel, members from the award-winning Crucial Minutiae writers group will discuss ways to survive, both financially and emotionally, in these trying times for writers of all kinds. To be discussed: speaking gigs, teaching in schools and for independent organizations like Mediabistro and Gotham Writer's Workshop, ghostwriting and consulting, test prep, health insurance, tax prep and other surprisingly literary conundrums.
Panelists will include memorist and writing teacher/coach Kimberlee Auerbach; author and educational consultant Joie Jager-Hyman; New York Magazine contributor and LSAT tutor Alex Morris; author, television producer and editor at The Frisky, Kate Torgovnick; and author, ghostwriter, consultant, blogger Courtney E. Martin.
Lisa Thomson replied to the discussion 'What did you blog about today?' in the group Bloggers: Let's Make It Work!
Deborah Armstrong commented on the group 'Small Publishers and Independent Authors'© 2013 Created by Kamy Wicoff.
