it feels nice to realise the very silent inportance of very unheard topics such as " THE IMPORTANCE OF CAFES IN OUR LIVES".i am really amazed to learn this there are people like you who are so very sensitive about such things! KEEP UR GOOD WORK GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my heartiest wishes are always there with you. WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this is a great idea.
My experience with a cafe is going somewhere where I know for a few moments in time I am stopping and taking out a moment to talk to someone or to sit and gather my thoughts for the day. The fact and importance is TAKING THE TIME. As in many other cultures Tea time gives you that opportunity to stop and catch your breath and appreciate the moment. When I go to a cafe that is what I am doing. For a brief segment in my life I am stopping the maddness. We do not stop enough to smell the coffee or anything else for that matter. The drive thru coffee stops are great for the time crunches in our lives but they take away the momentary stillness that comes from going into a cafe and sitting down and having a cup of coffee (or tea). It does not matter if you are with someone sharing that time or by yourself it just matters to take the time. Stop, smell, taste, listen, see and enjoy. How often do you do this?
(ps: plus sitting there is a great way to people watch and get ideas for stories, lol)
Well first of all I really appreciate you replying to this post.
Well I love cafès and would sit there for hours if nobody bothered me.Well I don't really go to the traditional cafès due to a lack of them where I live or shall I say a lack of exploration by my side for the traditional ones in my city.
I go there with any excuse I can manage to get or go there to fill my day whenever I get enough space and time.
Any form of cafè,I simply love going in there, hopefully I find more time and excuses to go in there!
And thank you Linda, again, for reply to this discussion,
Happy to have received your reply,
Hopefully I can have more people sharing their cafè stories,
Sagarika
