We all go to cafès and several other places which almost come to terms with the fact that they serve the same purpose as a cafè but are called with thousand other names.
I request you all to share any incident that you have had or know anybody has in a cafè.
Any story or incident or simply your views about the history, pattern or the very existence of cafès or anything related to cafè and under the sun will be well received and appreciated.
I ask you all because I think that women have the insight, perspicacity and finally what it takes to think about and feel deep oceans about a thing as common as a cafè,not that men don't but then you (we) all know in what context have I written this!
Hopefully we would all be able to share things like contribution of cafè to our lives,it's silent importance, influence and finally it being a podium for few or many,a medium of expression and finding different meaning for the same cafè to different poeple.
If not lastly,it being a mirror of the society we live in,reflecting the culture of our community because hopefully we'll have many more reasons to give, experiences to share and finally and simply comment on it.
Thank you for reading the post and please do not forget to share, just anything, anything.

Well first of all I really appreciate you replying to this post.
Well I love cafès and would sit there for hours if nobody bothered me.Well I don't really go to the traditional cafès due to a lack of them where I live or shall I say a lack of exploration by my side for the traditional ones in my city.
I go there with any excuse I can manage to get or go there to fill my day whenever I get enough space and time.
Any form of cafè,I simply love going in there, hopefully I find more time and excuses to go in there!
And thank you Linda, again, for reply to this discussion,
Happy to have received your reply,
Hopefully I can have more people sharing their cafè stories,
Sagarika

I think this is a great idea.
My experience with a cafe is going somewhere where I know for a few moments in time I am stopping and taking out a moment to talk to someone or to sit and gather my thoughts for the day. The fact and importance is TAKING THE TIME. As in many other cultures Tea time gives you that opportunity to stop and catch your breath and appreciate the moment. When I go to a cafe that is what I am doing. For a brief segment in my life I am stopping the maddness. We do not stop enough to smell the coffee or anything else for that matter. The drive thru coffee stops are great for the time crunches in our lives but they take away the momentary stillness that comes from going into a cafe and sitting down and having a cup of coffee (or tea). It does not matter if you are with someone sharing that time or by yourself it just matters to take the time. Stop, smell, taste, listen, see and enjoy. How often do you do this?
(ps: plus sitting there is a great way to people watch and get ideas for stories, lol)

"A standalone book app could cost $15,000 to $20,000." How about just a few hundred instead? http://dld.bz/a75x2
