My love for dogs began with my first one, Duchess. My mom said she was part Samoyed and part handsome stranger (didn't know the other breed). A loveable loyal dog. My neighbor worked with a shelter and often brought puppies home until they could find a permanent place. On my visits there I had played with them, held and loved them. She also had a few of her own dogs. I use to let them chase me around her backyard and pretend they were sharks and climb her tree to escape. Puppies would lick me and tug on my hair when I laid down on the floor. When I got up they clung onto my legs by wrapping their paws around them. They seemed to want me back on the ground for play. Puppies have a smell too a distinct newborn scent. So adorable. Now years later, I have a Samoyed of my own. She is loyal and loveable like my first dog. Dogs love you unconditionally from the moment they lay eyes on you. Wanting to please you and be loved. They are pure joy. The picture shows Bianca playing in the snow which she is fond of. Howling her song. She makes me smile by just being there. Thank God for Dogs.

I'd love to hear about your website dedicated to dog topics.

Hi Colleen - a little bit of a late reply - but I am also a huge dog lover. I don't write exclusively about dogs, but I definitely like to include them as a big part of most of my stories. Your Bianca is gorgeous!

Jackie

Thanks for saying Bianca is gorgeous. She is a pretty girl. I'd love to hear more about your stories. I will friend you on she writes so we can stay in touch. Thanks for the friend request. I hope you have a good Easter! I have a blog with some Easter recipes here are the links to some of them

Thanks for the links. I'll check them out - although missed them until today! Will have to be for next Easter. :) Our Easter was pretty quiet, but lovely. Hope yours was good.

Here's a link to a blurb about my current e-book - it's a dog-friendly romantic comedy about a woman getting a divorce who uses her dog as a guide to get more of what she wants out of life.

All the best,

I liked your website. I'll try to check out your ebook what the dog ate after I finish reading the book I'm currently reading. My Easter was good also.

Take Care,

Colleen

I love Samoyeds...they are so beautiful, as is Bianca. I'm a Golden Retriever person. My angel Samantha died a while back and I will soon be rescuing another. Nice to talk to a dog person...Nancy.

sorry to hear about Samantha dying. Rescuing another dog is a great idea! Nice to meet you. Colleen

Here's a better title: The Dog: A Woman's Best Friend. Dogs Woman's Best Friend sounds like the headline of a report about a stalker.
