I just want to share what may be one of the coolest ideas for Halloween: Rosie the Riveter. We created a bandana in honor of our book (a collective memoir) called Rosie's Daughters: The "First Woman To" Generation Tells Its Story. We call it the official Rosie the Riveter Legacy bandana. And now I can tell you it's become the essential accessory for the empowered woman.

This has become such a popular accessory that we just contracted with a new manufacturer to create a big (27 x 27") beautiful bandana that is perfect for tying Rosie style. So this Halloween, you too can do the Rosie! And it's made in the USA

Thanks for writing about our new Rosie the Riveter bandana. Not only does it make a great Halloween costume, it is perfect all year long. With this new large bandana, you can wear it around you neck anytime. Live in a windy climate? This is the scarf that says, "Watch out. Here comes an empowered woman."

Two women wore our Rosie the Riveter bandanas to The Severn Valley Railway “War Weekend” that is held each year in England. Norma Horton Bryant's mother worked as a welder in the US during the war and Norma and her sisters went to England to honor their her. Alzheimer's prevents her mother from telling her own story so Norma has written a lovely vignette about her mother and posted it on our website. Click here to read her memoir story.
