Hi Sarah,

 

Was it a comment from someone named "Peace"?  We had a spammer recently leave a bunch of comments that are now deleted, so that might explain why you can't get to it.

 

Otherwise, clicking on the link in your email should work, so feel free to give more details about what's going wrong and I'll help out!

I have received two comment notifications and when I click on the link, it brings me to my profile but with no comments anywhere in sight to approve.  It was not from someone named Peace, so unsure what the problem is?  Please help!

I am getting those too; from Peace and Jennifer and Pascalina, they are obviously spam as they give their email address rather than going through the She Writes site. There is no need to exchange individual emails as She Writes provides plenty of options for Bona Fide members to exchange.

Another warning: I was linked to web content by the troll David Failkips when I clicked on some of the Bona Fide links to Jennifer Sharevsky. It was inappropriate content, posted by David Failkips not by Jennifer Sharevsky, so I notified local authorities.

I don't know if this was a spam message, but I 
received an email from She Writes with message from 
a person named Clara who said she was a member. She 
asked me to email her because she had something special 
she wanted to discuss with me and found it difficult to 
express herself on the website. 
I tried to find her in the membership on the site, 
but couldn't locate anyone by the name she gave me.

She contacted me too. I deleted her email. Too risky to take the chance and she sounded too needy. I'm not into needy right now.

I received that email as well and deleted it immediately.

Hi Pamela,

We actually had more than one spammer this past week, so my hunch is that those comments were deleted. If you feel they were comments that you would've wanted to approve and something is malfunctioning, let me know.

Where can I find the shewrites author bookshelf? Since the format changed I can't seem to locate it. (And I like to read from shewrite authors.)

We haven't had the She Writes bookshelf in about a year, I'm afraid.  But feel free to check out books by She Writes friends or ask in Groups!

Really truly :).  The technology that we had for it just wasn't possible to continue, but we definitely have book-sharing as an important feature on the future wishlist.  We're continuing to make improvements all the time based on your feedback, so thanks for letting us know you miss the bookshelf!
