Let go, enjoy the silence, return.

Sitting in silence and inviting possibility.

sit down, hold fingers to keys.

Take pen and paper in hand.

I let the novel rest awhile

Read. Clean. Walk. Walk. Clean. Read.

Saw block. Convert sawdust to words.

deep breath, hands on keys

Stop the world. Get off. Meditate.

Keep my fingers moving ever faster.

Get up, get coffee, walk strong.

Walk dog; then journal with coffee.
