Why do you favor fiction or non-fiction? Fantasy or memoir? YA or sci-fi? What is it that draws you to the particular kind of writing you typically do?

In six words, tell us: What do you love about your genre?

(Remember: six words--no more, no less!)

Poetry distills the world and eternity.
Fiction: can be universal when writing

Building a symphony with human sound.

Inspirational nonfiction: Richer after reading than before reading.

It's all a mystery to me.

Non-fiction: "You can't make this shit up."

DeLani, I LOVE your reply!

Thanks! I know it's not the most original sentiment, but the most appropriate! My writers' group thinks it should be the title of my memoir, LOL.

That is an awesome reply!

Memoir: My thoughts crack me up!

I can get away with murder

I like this one!
