What inspires you to create? What is it that gives you the motivation and drive to step away from the world, sit down at your computer (or with a pen and paper), and write?

My imagination. I have created a world that (I think) is so vivid that I have to write about it. Also, when I do share my little story bits, it is inspiring when others actually like what I've written.
