I have had a good variety of people read my first chapter for feedback and they all come back to me excited to read more but almost anxiety ridden for me to answer the many questions the first chapter arises. I of course tell them that they will have to wait and read on to answer those questions later in the story (because I have purposefully written the chapter to invoke these questions in the reader), but it leaves me thinking is it good to leave your readers with questions at the end of a chapter?
