Is There a Place for Batman in our Homes and Schools?

I posted about this ("B" is for Batman) and would love to hear your comments.  Without having to link to my blog, while I do believe we should curtail the sale of assault weapons and be more sensitive to violence our kids are exposed to in games, TV, and movies, AND feel there should be better/more effective background checks before anyone purchases a gun or weapon, I strongly believe there is a place for Batman at home and in school. The old Batman TV show, for example, with Adam West is FULL of great lessons - from reading the sound effects to teaching onomatopoeia and solving riddles riddled with puns and word play.

What do you think?  Please check out my blog post and/or continue the conversation here!
