Permalink Reply by Marianne Schnall on July 18, 2009 at 5:20pm I've just started blogging for a site that covers all cultural events in New England. It's called theartsfuse.com and I'm working from Berkshire County, reviewing theater, music and the visual arts. You can view my last post on Tanglewood and MassMOCA's Bang on a Can here: www.theartsfuse.com. Another idea for some of you might be amazon shorts -- short pieces you can post on amazon that are sold for 50 cents!! I did my first on memoir -- MEMOIR; HOW I READ, WRITE AND USE IT -- and it will now be published as part of a book of short textes titled Ecrire La Vie in Paris in October. I'm working on an American edition now. Also see SWIMMING AGAINST STEREOTYPE --http://www.amazon.com/Swimming-Against-Stereotype-Twentieth-Century...

It's called Music Talks and it's a good book to put on your suggested reading lists for feature writing, profile writing and magazine writing. I should have books by the end of August just in time for fall semester and if you can't find them anywhere else, please get in touch with me at www.helenepstein.com
