If I can get my pages done today I will be happy.  I am behind but that is not as important as it is to not stay that way! 

 

Great attitude, Mary Jane.  Even if your word count isn't quite where you want it to be, keep moving forward.

I want to get to 16,000 words.  I am at 14,035 so far and here is how I feel about it

You will do it, Julie!  How wonderful to be in love with your characters and your story.  Good for you. Can't say my feelings are that strong about mine, but I do like my characters and think I have the bones of a good story.  I hope I can finish this first draft, take a break, and then rewrite/revise it into something good.

Going for another 2k tonight.  Currently at 41,414.  

I'm setting up a novel named Seconds Cafe, which is about a business I am striving to build, worth about 4 million dollars to build...4 different sections of the business.  Two parks, One homeless shelter, and a great big restaurant...well, sorry, I can't tell you all of it.  But it is run by Francwell A. Marshay, a lady that came in to great wealth at the end of her life, and she put it all into this business.  OMG sorry, I can't go any further!

Okay, so today I'll do more writing on the short story I started yesterday.  I also want to create a page on my blog where I can list links to some interviews that I've done.  I'm also going to try to start my next blog post.  Off I go...

Was able to finish my new blog post and set up a page on my blog for interviews.  Did not get to writing more of my short story.  Shucks!
