Permalink Reply by Widdershins on November 3, 2011 at 12:54pm Hey Claudia ... with life and all it's challenges, being content with your journal entry today is sufficient. Maybe not for tomorrow, but that's for tomorrows challenge. This is a one-day-at-a-time writing exercise after all, not a week-at-a-time or a month-at-a-time one.
Here's a thought. Think of what you can reasonably do tomorrow, even if it's something like going for a run so you don't feel too sad about missing it today.
Sometimes our writing goals aren't about doing any actual writing, and it's certainly not a numbers game.
Hope this helps,
Widder
Hi, Claudia!
I understand how you feel. Sometimes, setting goals, especially writing goals, can feel overwhelming; but hang in there. Do it when you feel like doing it. If you feel like taking a break one day and going for a run, or completing some errands, I say go for it. Whatever it takes for you to help keep the activity a fun one, do that. Journal entries are a great outlet. You never know what can come of those. Keep going. You might surprise yourself as how far this challenge takes you. Good luck to you!

Today's goals - 1,000 words on Book 2 and 1 promotional thing-y for Book 1
