NaNoWriMo goal: 2,000 words.
NaNoWriMo actual: 2,269 words today.
NaNOWriMo total to date: 10,693 words

I don't think I've ever written that much in such a short period of time before. :) I start a blog post in the morning, after checking in with NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo and doing the 2011 Gratitude Challenge, Then I wait to finish it in case something else interesting comes up during the day. My other goal for today is to finish the post in a timely manner, rather than hurriedly at 11:30 pm!
I am creating a plot that cover several generations and secrets about an Estate that Rhetterfields own. The characters were put in place earlier this week and now the reader is drawen in by the mystery of what happened at a birthday celebration, and how it  affects so many people.

Hi,

I am going to write a blog post of at least 250 words.  Then, I'm going to write at least 2000 words of my book.

Goal: Keep going from where I left off last night. Go back and add in a couple of points I missed. Keep making discoveries about the evolving relationship that is the subject of this story.
I wanted to stay on par today and I managed to do it. I am up to 8379 words. I thought I might be able to make it to 10K but I was just too tired. I didn't sleep very well last night, was up until 3AM thanks to a combination of noisy neighbors and a snoring husband. I hope I can write around 2500 words tomorrow. :)
Today I just want to write something.  I started with a burst of energy but now things are fading.  So I'm being gentle with my self today and asking just that I write some words. No limit.  I'm a little ahead, so I can breathe today and still be on track.  Maybe the roses will inspire me or the migrating birds.

I wrote today on into tonight.  I have 6,757 words down. Means tomorrow I will/may take off.

I have blended heartfelt stories about a woman,Ty Madison, turning fifty with fantasy.  It is her big five O.  Her surprise party has been planned for months by an annoymous benefactor. The guests arrive, the room is set, but no sign of Ty. It appears that the gracious host does not have a celebration in mind!
