My goal for the 5 days starting Monday is 15,000 words.
I'm starting the day at 13,875. At the end of today I want to be at 17,500. The plot shifted yesterday, which was a bit scary, but I'm going to flow with it today. I've moved off the synopsis, certainly. Maybe I'll rewrite that at the end of the day too
My generic target is 2k per day, but I've been averaging about 2300.  Yesterday, I wrote only 1771, so I'd like to write about 2900 words to maintain my average and make up yesterday's gap.

Didn't make it.  Only 1101 words.  Still fighting a cold and family obligations, but I'm happy that I kept my momentum going.

I'm still at 5916 - life keeps getting in my writing time.  But I plan to do another block this weekend.
My goals haven't involved word counts, but projects. Today my goal is to write a Life Lived submission for the Globe and Mail for my late father-in-law who passed away in September. It's only now that the words are coming to me.
I get so f'ing sleepy when I write. I just woke up. Two hours of sleep after just a couple of paragraphs. Ugh.
My goal for today was to reach 16,000 on my novel.  Currently I have by-passed that and am at 16,108!
Wrote about 900 words this morning. Would love to write another 900 before bed!
My goal was 2000 words, and I managed 2978 today, but they were very difficult, each and every one of them. Yikes! Some days you feel like a nut, and some days, unfortunately, you don't.
Yesterday was a total washout.  Didn't write a thing.  Today's not starting off much better.  But after dinner I am to change all that and get back to work on a blog post...and finish it.  Then I'm going to try to edit and make sense of chapter 4.  Yahoo!

I had a goal of 16000 total today. Just passed 18000. Feeling pretty good about that. Don't like everything I've got, but hey, it's 18000 words I didn't have on October 31.

Today I went to my first Write-In at Wicker Park's "Just Indulge" coffee shop, led by one of the Chicago MLs, Livia. (ChiWriMo has a rocking website).

"I find that at about 30k words, it's good to step away for awhile. At this point I usually skip to the end and flesh that out. Then when you come back to your story, you have a better idea of where you're going and how to get there."

"Hi TD... I too had a similar experience. I got stuck mid-way and didn't know where to take the next chapter.  I wrote the ending, which I was very pleased with, and the rest just came to me. "

"@TD I recently had a similar experience. I was a little further along in my story but really plodding. Writing the end suddenly helped me fill in what I miss missing. I am now a mere five outlined chapters from the end :)"
