Didn't make it yesterday.  Only 1748, but each day my head cold gets a little better.  I'm thankful for what I did.

I have fallen a tad behind on my nanowrimo project, so if I can get 3000 done today, that would be awesome.

I want to thank SheWrites for mentioning Write Nonfiction in November (WNFIN) when they began SheWriMo. (I'm the founder and a newbie to SheWrites.) I SO appreciate it! I was too busy getting the first week up and running to get back and express my gratitude, so I'll do it here.

Since last year I realized my November project is WNFIN. I coordinate, edit about 25 blog posts, write intros to them, and post them to the WNFIN blog. And I write the remaining ones myself. I used to try and get a project done at the same time, but it's just too much work. Plus, this year I also had to finish the line edits to my first traditionally published book, How to Blog a Book, which Writer's Digest Books will release in April, which were due today. (Took them off to Fed Ex yesterday!)

I just got back from the Blog World Expo, so I've added to my November projects to finish at least a few of the posts I want to write based on some fabulous interviews I did there with blogging and social networking experts.

So...although WNFIN is about starting and finishing "A nonfiction PROJECT" in 30 days, I'll get all of WNFIN done and a a couple smalls thrown in as well. Wish I could say I was writing a full on book...but that will happen again next year.

As for today...well...I have to write tomorrow's post. So, I must get that done. I also hope to get the next days' post edited and posted.

Today is a good day for me on shewrimo. I finally get just a bit more time to write for myself. I have been freelance writing for the past couple of days. So today I am focused on finishing up two of these short stories that I have swimming around in my brain.. No word count.. Just finish
