Writing a book was something I had not seriously considered until 2008. On July 23, 2008 I received a phone call that my son had killed himself (He had just recently and reluctantly moved in with the mother of his daughter and unborn child). This young man's death was a shock and unbelieveable.
After a sloppy investigation by local authorities my mother and I decided to do our own investigation, we found critical information that was overlooked, we even learned that suicide letters been found throughout the apartment, they had been written by the young mother. One particular letter indicated "I hate you, you're going to wish you never met me."

The authorities quickly ruled and closed the case, calling it a suicide. Tragic Love is inspired by the death of my son.

In the center of the Tragic Love story is a little girl and an unborn child left behind by the deceased young man. The family of the deceased find themselves in a fierce custody battle with an attempt to save the little girl from her unstable mother. After being failed by the justice system the family loses their fight for custody but reconciles the relationship with the mother so that they may be a part of their grandchildren's life. Nine months later a child is born, the alleged baby boy of the deceased, however, there is much reason to question the fatherhood.

Part 2 of Tragic Love (not yet released)

Sleep was not coming easy as thoughts of my grandchildren and my beloved son consume my mind. I have been restless with worry. Each time I see my sweet little Anna, she has dark cirlces under her eyes and a puffy face from crying, she's only a year and a half old but appears to be under great stress. The two month old baby boy is beautiful, although we question whether our son Tim is the father, we love him just the same. The baby is always sick...something isn't right, I can feel it. How long will it be before their mother breaks, it's obvious that she's suffereing both mentally and physically, she appears possessed and I'm afraid for the babies. She was very angry yesterday when my husband asked for a DNA on the little boy. I told him not to. "If you ask her for a DNA we will never see those children again."

My thoughts were interrupted by the loud ring of the telephone, who could be calling at 3:00 in the morning.

I was in shock and tears were running down my face as the coroner confirmed that they were proceeding with the autopsy of the tiny two month old baby boy. I cried to the detective, "First my son and now this innocent baby, two deaths in less than a year and the only person who was present at the time of both deaths is still free." The detective repeated the same thing that I had been told less than a year ago, "maam, I'm sorry for your loss, but we don't have enough evidence."

Through Tragic Love the truth is revealed.
