I am in the middle of The Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich. (Also, Just read fellow member Meg Waite Clayton's The Wednesday Sisters, which was absolutely lovely!). I am always looking for great books to write down in my journal for future reading, so if you don't mind: ideas please!

Hope everyone's having a great night,
Rebecca

I've just finished reading All Passion Spent by Vita Sackville- West and reviewing it for the paper I write, it's thoroughly enjoyable, and I will then move onto By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept by Elizabeth Smart, does anyone have any opinions on the Smart book?
I am rereading the most successful (woman) writer ever J.K. Rowling because my brain is too mush to handle anything else right now.
Hi Carleen -- I hear you about the brain mush! I have that, too and must make reading adjustments! Zehra, I have heard good things about The Smart book. I'll let you know when I read it :)
I just finished The Year of the Flood by the ever-amazing Margaret Atwood and I just started Saving CeeCee Honeycut by our very own Beth Hoffman, So far, it's wonderful.
Oh, good to hear the Year of the Flood is wonderful! As well as Beth's book!
Hi Rebecca,

I am reading the memoir Lit by Mary Karr...I definitely recommend it.
I am trying to gear up for Lit! xox
Louise Erdrich is my literary heroine of all time. (Yes, I know I'm supposed to say 'hero' but I find the trend to de-gender words trivial and annoying. In Spanish and many other Romance languages it is impossible to have any noun without gender! So what's the problem?) Anyway, I have been listening to the audio book of Final Report on the Miracles at Little No-Horse, read by a marvelous reader - not always the case with audio books. If you think Erdrich is mesmerizing to read, try her books in audio. Also Tracks.
Oh I love Tracks! And Master Butcher's SInging Club, although I haven't heard them on audio. Great idea!
