My husband reads romance. And writes it. That's how we met, in fact, at a romance writers group. He was very smart; he read all my books so he could figure out what I like, what I think is romantic.

Okay so I'm really tempted to start a website for roMANce for men.  Not male male, but men telling their love stories with other women.  It's true, the market is very slim, the studies show.  But I believe if we cater more to men in romance, then maybe they'd want to read it.  Isn't that what romance readers think when they're sighing?  Wish my husband or boyfriend would read this.  Well, there's only one way to catch a special fish.  With a special hook.  Hee hee.  You have to put masculine scent on the bait! Mmmmmm, gooooood.

Hello Abigail, how are you today?

Not so good.

Oh?  What's wrong?

My roMANce is low

Oh bah!  That's nonsense, who needs roMANce?

MEN, but they don't much read it.

Hmmm.  Wonder why?

I don't know.  Something about not being able to CONNECT with the characters and it always being catered to women, stupid stuff.

Stupid indeed!
