Welcome Authors

If you write in this genre, you already know there is a huge shortage in groups and networks for IR authors. We need to band together. I encourage all authors and writers here to share networking advice, anything that pertains to the IR community.

If you know of any online groups or social networks that cater to interracial fiction and Romance, please share here.

You are allowed to post info about your books, post book reviews, share links, anything you'd like. I've created this as a haven for IR/Multicultural authors. You do not have to be an IR writer to be in this group. Everyone is welcome but just know that the purpose of this group is for people who write IR fiction and that's what we will be discussing here.

If you review IR books, please post here. If you have a blog pertaining to IR books or you feature them, please post here.

Welcomes authors of all IR no matter the genre. Crime, Romance, Erotica, Gay & Lesbian, anything.

I ask you all be respectful to one another. Please do not spam other members. Use this board for your promotion but do not use this group as a free for all to spam people.

This group is not for talking about interracial dating or those type of discussions. This is for authors to talk about the genre and to share and network.

Check out my site. I'll be posting about my upcoming Crime/IR novel from time to time.

Thanks for starting the group, Stacy!

I write upbeat, diversity-is-mainstream contemporary erotica. My January 2016 title, DODGING EROS, Through Past, Present and Pleasure is competing in the TRR Readers' Choice Awards Summer 2016 in the mainstream erotic romance - contemporary romance category.

First round voting ends at 12mid 3/31 and DE is a few votes shy of moving on to the finals. If you or other group members see this before the deadline, please help me keep DE in the same conversation with books from Kensington, Forever and Gallery, and strong indies like by voting here

There'll be a prompt to sign up to vote, but you can opt out of mailings by unchecking the box/es. Thanks so much & best wishes to all! C.B.

Blog: An #IndieAuthor's Journey: Lost in the Crowd

Hi all,
I've self-published two "mainstream" romances which are lost in the crowd of novels. Journey with me through this maze called self-publishing. Feel what this indie author feels.

In that post, I've included a promotional discount coupon. Use it on checkout at my eStore for copies of Templet's Tasty Tails.

I anticipate your points-of-view. Chime in.

Thank you so much Vivienne Diane Neal.  It's really kind of you.  I hope some of you'll enjoy checking it out!  I'm just getting started so I'd really appreciate any feedback from the group! Many thanks :) Wishing you all a great weekend!

Thanks for the add!  Really excited to have found this group.  Just released Loose Ends, an inter-racial romance based in LA with London as a backdrop. Was really looking for a forum like this one!

Don't you just luv reading snippets and looking at lovely covers?

I invite you to share a snippet and the cover of your Christmas/New Year's holiday romance on my blog. I've created a special post to showcase this special theme. If your romance is sweet to sensual and PG13 or under, the guidelines are here.

Are any of you publishing your content in serial format on your website? If so, are you regulating content (i.e. memberships or newsletters) or just leaving it to public consumption? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Templet's Tasty Tails - (Audio) Let Me Read That Excerpt for You

Hi all,

Don't feel like reading an excerpt? No problem.

Surprise! At Mickie's Mutterings, I read it for you from my new release, Templet's Tasty Tails.

Scene: After their initial business meet and greet ended in a spirited fashion, Booker encounters Erika at the home of a mutual acquaintance. He's elated. Erika...not so much.

Come have a listen I love it when you talk back. Leave me a comment.

Thanks, Vivienne. I think it is a winner. Confidently and not conceitedly stated. ;)

Don't forget to check out the Pinterest storyboard.

What have you been up to?
