For all who are interested, Kobo is now allowing self publishing. You can publish without an ISBN, but they strongly encourage you to have one.
Comment by Teicha Hill Mailhes on July 15, 2012 at 1:58pm Today on the Vallory V Blog, I've interviewed Amber Grayson. She is the heroine from the newly revised 2nd Edition of In The Moment. Stop by and ask any follow-up questions. Not saying that she'll answer them, though.

Comment by Dariel Raye on July 14, 2012 at 10:01pm The first novella in my new series, "Dark Sentinels," went live today at Kindle! It'll be live at B&N in a couple of days. Let me know if you have time on your blog for a guest as I schedule my book tour. It's a multicultural paranormal romance starting a series about a special breed of shifters. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008L87H0O I also posted about it on my site http://www.pendarielraye.blogspot.com
Comment by Mickie Sherwood on July 8, 2012 at 5:45pm Hi, all,
The opening day for the Essence Music Festival 2012 in New Orleans was Fiday. And—I was there. A diverse crowd enjoyed the daytime activities and, I expect, also looked forward to the evening performances.
New Orleans was one rocking city this weekend.
Get a glimpse of what I saw at Mickie's Mutterings. Enjoy the pictures.
What did you like best when you attended?
Comment by Mickie Sherwood on June 25, 2012 at 3:10pm You're welcome, Vivienne.
Comment by Mercedes Keyes on June 25, 2012 at 5:58am Yep Vivienne, before actually taking on writing, I hadn't a clue of what it all entailed. It basically boils down to what you're writing for. I write because my mind is filled with stories I'm dying to tell - some I have had to strike off the list because there is no time to get them all done. I love it - it's who I am. But - by no means have I made a living off of it yet. I know some who wish to write to make a living, SMH - if that's what motivates you - you're in big trouble... *smile* Oh well... best get back to it.
