Welcome Authors

If you write in this genre, you already know there is a huge shortage in groups and networks for IR authors. We need to band together. I encourage all authors and writers here to share networking advice, anything that pertains to the IR community.

If you know of any online groups or social networks that cater to interracial fiction and Romance, please share here.

You are allowed to post info about your books, post book reviews, share links, anything you'd like. I've created this as a haven for IR/Multicultural authors. You do not have to be an IR writer to be in this group. Everyone is welcome but just know that the purpose of this group is for people who write IR fiction and that's what we will be discussing here.

If you review IR books, please post here. If you have a blog pertaining to IR books or you feature them, please post here.

Welcomes authors of all IR no matter the genre. Crime, Romance, Erotica, Gay & Lesbian, anything.

I ask you all be respectful to one another. Please do not spam other members. Use this board for your promotion but do not use this group as a free for all to spam people.

This group is not for talking about interracial dating or those type of discussions. This is for authors to talk about the genre and to share and network.

Enjoy!

Check out my site. I'll be posting about my upcoming Crime/IR novel from time to time.

Hello,

For all who are interested, Kobo is now allowing self publishing.  You can publish without an ISBN, but they strongly encourage you to have one.

Today on the Vallory V Blog, I've interviewed Amber Grayson. She is the heroine from the newly revised 2nd Edition of In The Moment. Stop by and ask any follow-up questions. Not saying that she'll answer them, though.

The first novella in my new series, "Dark Sentinels," went live today at Kindle! It'll be live at B&N in a couple of days. Let me know if you have time on your blog for a guest as I schedule my book tour. It's a multicultural paranormal romance starting a series about a special breed of shifters. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008L87H0O I also posted about it on my site http://www.pendarielraye.blogspot.com

The fictional short story is about a wealthy businessman who is planning to marry his self-centered fiancée but is sidetracked by a beautiful stranger, who will bring lust, desire and eroticism into his life but will ultimately destroy his relationship with the one person who has always stood by him.

Hi, all,

The opening day for the Essence Music Festival 2012 in New Orleans was Fiday. And—I was there. A diverse crowd enjoyed the daytime activities and, I expect, also looked forward to the evening performances.

New Orleans was one rocking city this weekend.

Get a glimpse of what I saw at Mickie's Mutterings. Enjoy the pictures.

What did you like best when you attended?

You're welcome, Vivienne.

Yep Vivienne, before actually taking on writing, I hadn't a clue of what it all entailed. It basically boils down to what you're writing for. I write because my mind is filled with stories I'm dying to tell - some I have had to strike off the list because there is no time to get them all done. I love it - it's who I am. But - by no means have I made a living off of it yet. I know some who wish to write to make a living, SMH - if that's what motivates you - you're in big trouble... *smile* Oh well... best get back to it.
