I think I've got all the new folks up...! You may want to check the index to make sure you're on there and that everything's correct. If it needs fixing, please post to the New Members discussion thread (you may need to hit "view all" for that thread to show up). Thanks!

Hi. I am Sandi Kahn Shelton, and I LOVE this site! Almost too much, since I was going to spend the whole day working on my new novel and instead have been reading She Writes postings.

Oh, well. I do have a blog, which I've been writing for the past few years, and I'd love if you'd come visit. I can already see that I'll be visiting plenty of blogs in the near future. It's great that we can help each other this way!

My blog is at http://www.sandishelton.com/blog

I just added a new blog to my first, which is writebetternow.blogspot.com. This new one is not so originally titled gretchen-hirsch.blogspot.com. The two are different (otherwise what would be the point?) The new one deals with issues related to publishing, self-publishing, and writing life. I'll be sharing the journey toward the release of my newest book and whatever else strikes my fancy while that's going on. The prior one, which I'll be keeping up as I can, discusses issues of usage, grammar, and better business writing. Hope you'll visit both.

I just wrote a piece called Summer Survival Tips for Stay at Home Moms. You might be thinking to yourself "School has been out for a while now ... isn't this kind of late". Well, if I had actually read the responses I got to my queries for tips/advice on the subject sooner, I might have implemented them from Day 1 after school got out, and been better able to get my act together to actually write the darn article! Anyway, better late than never! I hope some of you find it helpful!

Hi,
I'm Patti McCracken. I'm an independent journalist and j. trainer based abroad. My blog is a bit panoramic, mostly ex-pat-related, along some occasional backstories to articles (when appropriate and permitted). It's at http://www.pattimcc.blogspot.com. My website is http://www.pattimccracken.com.

If you go to Discussion Forum above and click "View All" you'll find a thread about the conference with women networking to meet up...check it out if you're going to be there. Wish I was!

Any of you going to be at Blogher? I will be there and would LOVE to meet you all; maybe we can organize drinks or a SHE WRITES happy hour. Let me know!
Comment by Sarah Peppel on July 11, 2009 at 8:12am
Hi! I'm Sarah Peppel and my blog is www.genesismoments.com & www.diyfrugal.com. My personal blog, Genesis Moments, has been going for awhile but DIYFrugal is new and I am looking for additional contributors. Right now it is just an online host for the frugal living columns I write in the local paper which also go on the Chester County Moms site. It is in the baby stages. I also write featured stories for StoryofMyLife.com which is a free site for storing individual personal stories and is always looking for new writers as well.

Can't wait to meet more of you! This is a great idea.
