I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

Comment by Annie Boreson on March 21, 2012 at 3:14pm We ate some pretty horrifying things back in the 60's. I had a good time reminiscing about what sat in our cupboards. If you have a moment I'd love you to stop by. http://www.annieboreson.com/2012/03/21/silence-of-the-spam/. Thanks!
I just posted a strange and funny story, The Duck Man, at http://www.juneohara.com/the-duck-man/. I'd love to see you there. Thanks!

Comment by Lucille Joyner on March 16, 2012 at 10:56am Annie, I wonder what the current definition of promiscuity is. Things that were considered promiscuous in the past are common practices today. I listened to a young girl in her mid-20s tell me that the third guy she lived with was a slob. He never picked up his dirty socks. There was no shame or stigma in talking about it. There was a time when young girls who were not virgins were considered promiscuous. Today, no one is expected to be a virgin by 20. What is considered promiscuous today will probably be standard behavior in the future. Can you imagine what our society will be like when there is a new definition of pornography and when street drugs become legal? There is a downward pull in our society. Every other word is "F" and TV and movies are so explicit, they leave nothing to the imagination. I'll let someone else continue this line of thinking. There are a few who rue the change in society.
Comment by Annie Boreson on March 16, 2012 at 10:08am Today I touched on the objects of promiscuity. It's a bold new world.

Comment by Lucille Joyner on March 15, 2012 at 8:22pm Well . . . my funny book is finally out. It's in my business name, Lucille Rains, and it's called Ya Wanna Laugh? Trouble is, it took so long, I don't feel like laughing anymore. It does have a little circulation. I did give a copy today to my dentist. He could use a few laughs.
