Funny Women

I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

I haven't written much for awhile, but hopefully that's going to change. Humor left me high and dry, which pretty much eliminated the group for funny women. Anyway, I'm finding my way back.

@Wendy - that looks hilarious!  Sorry to hear you're struggling with infertility, I can't imagine how difficult that must be.  It's really great you're able to use humor to cope.  I do the same with writing about my bipolar disorder - better to laugh than cry!

Hello Lovely Funny Ladies,

I have been writing about my heartache with infertility, trying to tackle the subject with humor and have now decided to try turning my writing into a comedic webseries called How To Buy A Baby. I would love my favorie funny women to check it out!

Oh, is that all it takes? Click the Join Group button? I'm glad there wasn't a test! I don't know why it took me so long to find you all, but I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you funny women :) I have a SW monthly blog, but this one's funnier:  Glad to be here!

When the President of the Piano Technicians Guild wrote in our Oct monthly journal that he loves to laugh, I sent him my book, "Ya Wanna Laugh?" I thought he'd get a kick out of it since it includes many humorous episodes that I experienced on the job a a piano technician/tuner. I was pleasantly surprised that he wrote about my book in the Dec issue. It occurred to me that as writers, we are concerned about marketing, how to make people aware of our book. Well, this shows me that there are marketing opportunities around us that we don't even think of. It never occurred to me that this man would promote my book in a publication that goes to every registered tuner in the country. It opens up all sorts of possibilities in marketing your work.
