Funny Women

I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

Speaking of absurd, I just heard from Green Print, a gardener's publication called The Weeder's Digest (now THAT's funny!) I won the Broken Trowel Award with a free one year subscription and a CD. Broken Trowel is their term for Obituary, the place where gardening mistakes are buried. What's really funny is that they used one scene that had to do with Roses which they renamed Unidentified Flying Roses, and they drew a cartoon of a space ship dropping gnarly rose roots on earth. They said it'll be in the next issue. Oh, boy!
