Comment by Emiliana Martín on August 2, 2012 at 3:56pm Here's are two articles on SEO and how to increase traffic to your web site that might help you understand how important certain elements are. I have found this to be true so far. My visits and page views are increasing since employing some of these tactics. I barely understand what I'm doing but it's a start. hth

Comment by Emiliana Martín on August 1, 2012 at 3:36pm How is everyone doing with their GA understanding. I'm just starting to understand it a bit. I'm sure I'm barely scratching the surface.
Comment by Emiliana Martín on July 9, 2012 at 4:03pm I posted Kelley's post on Facebook and got the following response almost immediately (almost makes me wonder whether this person actually gets work done):
Ugh. Just so you know, there are *a metric ton* of "SEO" books out there, many of them bad / poorly informed. Your best bets likely come from the Google Webmaster Tools and SEOMoz...

Emiliana, thanks for the link to Rocking the Blog SEO. Very helpful info there. We're getting started on our analytics adventure!
I'm new here, so I'd like to say hello. Hello!
I have a site, The Neurosis Files. I blog faithfully but am curious as hell about stats, analytics, how to interpret them, etc. I feel like I'm on information overload. Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing all of your experiences and advice.

Obviously, we're not the only ones who want to understand GA better. Woohoo!
Comment by Emiliana Martín on July 5, 2012 at 12:12am That's terrific! Thanks for taking that on. I created the discussion. I'll repost my question there.
Emiliana, today I posted your "blurb" or my version of it in my status and in my groups. But I think this idea is a really positive "let's help each other" approach. However, like you, I need to know the difference between a "page view" and a "visit." I'm willing to research this a bit and post my findings within 48 hours. Disclaimer: I may have no findings to report but I'll post that too. :)
Comment by Emiliana Martín on July 4, 2012 at 11:28pm Perhaps we can tackle this differently. How about I create a discussion where people ask questions. One person posts that they volunteer to answer the question and posts that answer within say 48 hours? Right now, I'm trying to understand the difference between a "page view" and a "visit." Any takers?
