Hi Everyone: I don't get to this site too often so I have a lot of catching up to do. Just when I thought I had my ducks in a row with all of my published books, I learned that my publisher is closing her doors. Now I have to ensure that all of them will still be available on line. The only way for me to do this at this point is to turn all of them into ebooks for sale on various ebook sites. It is a huge undertaking and demanded a whole new learning curve, but I managed to get one of my newest offerings up on Amazon.com and on Kobo.
Phenomenal Paul: An Incredible True Tale of Insect-like Creatures & UFO Sightings is now available. Yay! Here is a short synopsis:
Paul Shishis is an ordinary family man who has had an extraordinary life. Beginning as a child, he was abducted from his bed by frightening insect-like creatures and since then, has experienced over 400 UFO sightings. He has witnessed and filmed craft of many different sizes, shapes and colors over the years. In Phenomenal Paul, he talks frankly about his lifetime connection to UFOs and the alien abduction phenomenon.
For Kobo readers, you will find the ebook at http://store.kobobooks.com/en-ca/Search?Query=Martha+Jette
Hi, I'm over on Renee Duke's blog today talking about paranormal stuff and ghost stories and my short story A Hallowe'en Tale. Drop by and share your own experiences for a chance to win a copy of the story. http://tinyurl.com/kralemz Hope to see you there!
Hi everyone, I am also a grandmother of too many to count and now a new girl! Yay! Actually the first was a girl with nine boys in between and finally another girl. Anyway, I have a fun blog called Natter and Review and I interview authors and review books. This week I have a gal on there who may or may not be a grandmother since I forgot to ask. Her name is Renee Duke and she has written a fun Middle Grade book called The Disappearing Rose about some kids who end up time travelling back to old England where they connect with the two princes who mysteriously disappeared from the Tower of London many years ago. We have a contest happening with lots of fun discussions on what may really have happened to the lads. Please pop over and give your opinion. You might just win a copy of her book! The contest ends Saturday night. Hope to see you there. Thanks, Lynne Murray www.natterandreview.wordpress.com
Thanks to Stacy Theis for publishing an interview about my grandmother book, Family Secrets: Three Generations, on her site. www.beachboundbooks.com/lissa-brown.html
Hi my name is Charlene, grandmother to two boys, 4 and 2. Needless to say the delight and joy of my heart! I look forward to exploring everyone's profiles and writing.
While setting up my website I found some priceless grandmotherisms. Check them out at www.lissabrownwrites.com
Hello Ladies this is my third day as a member and this is my ninth group. I guess I'm just excited to be here. At any rate I'm a new gramme and still learning the ropes of such a great position. However I don't have that many stories about my own grandchildren just yet but I do have wonderful stories about my own grandmother. She is a very important person in my life and gave me my greatest gift. She introduced me to Christ and He has been my strength all of my life. Now just a little quick story about my grandmother.
On September 15 2010 we celebrated my grandmother's 100th birthday. She still walks unassisted and teaches her senior citizen aerobics class. She has no real illness and has never been in the hospital except when she had her children. She cooks and takes care of many of her neighbors who are much younger than she in her senior living home. She lives alone and is very happy. She has taught a bible study class every Friday for over 50 years. She still sings in her church choir and just stop being one of the church nurses. At her party we spoke about these things and other great things that she has done. When it was her turn to speak she said the following" I'm really glad you all like me. I never thought I would live this long. I've lived so long that my grandchildren are now senior citizens"....ha,ha,ha got to love her she has told me so many stories that I would like to share with you. Someday I would like to write a book about her life. Her own grandparents were slaves....but that story is for another time.
Thank you Ladies for allowing me to be apart of this wonderful group
