My new short story, "Huntin'", a paranormal action thriller is coming out today. It's an e release. What's neat is I started wrting this story almost twenty years ago. I plunked it in a box and then one day was sorting through some stuff and there it was. I pulled it out, shared it with my editor and we rewrote it. Here's my announcement on my blog.

Hi All! Signing in from Arizona where my seven yr old atomic treasure and I have had the opportunity to explore and discover the Sonoran desert with all its beauty, 'pokey' plants and armored animals. Funny, I've lived here all my life and have never seen things quite the way he does!

Dear Grandmother Writers,

I am not a grandmother writer (my twins are now 4!) but I"m working with one and am seeking venues for her smart writing. The mommy-blogosphere doesn't really encompass grandma writing (though it seems it should!) and there doesn't seem to be a grandma-blogosphere...yet. But there've got to be some welcoming venues out there, right...? She has 3 grandkids with special needs and writes poignantly and knowledgeably about inclusion education, becoming a grandmother through adoption, etc. Thanks so much, in advance, for any venue thoughts you might have.

Hi Everyone: I don't get to this site too often so I have a lot of catching up to do. Just when I thought I had my ducks in a row with all of my published books, I learned that my publisher is closing her doors. Now I have to ensure that all of them will still be available on line. The only way for me to do this at this point is to turn all of them into ebooks for sale on various ebook sites. It is a huge undertaking and demanded a whole new learning curve, but I managed to get one of my newest offerings up on and on Kobo.

Phenomenal Paul: An Incredible True Tale of Insect-like Creatures & UFO Sightings is now available. Yay! Here is a short synopsis:

Paul Shishis is an ordinary family man who has had an extraordinary life. Beginning as a child, he was abducted from his bed by frightening insect-like creatures and since then, has experienced over 400 UFO sightings. He has witnessed and filmed craft of many different sizes, shapes and colors over the years. In Phenomenal Paul, he talks frankly about his lifetime connection to UFOs and the alien abduction phenomenon.

Amazon Kindle

For Kobo readers, you will find the ebook at

Hi everyone, I am also a grandmother of too many to count and now a new girl! Yay! Actually the first was a girl with nine boys in between and finally another girl. Anyway, I have a fun blog called Natter and Review and I interview authors and review books. This week I have a gal on there who may or may not be a grandmother since I forgot to ask. Her name is Renee Duke and she has written a fun Middle Grade book called The Disappearing Rose about some kids who end up time travelling back to old England where they connect with the two princes who mysteriously disappeared from the Tower of London many years ago. We have a contest happening with lots of fun discussions on what may really have happened to the lads. Please pop over and give your opinion. You might just win a copy of her book! The contest ends Saturday night. Hope to see you there. Thanks, Lynne Murray
