Create an event on your own page, either by clicking on the ‘Share on She Writes’ drop down menu on the righthand side of your screen and selecting ‘event’, or by going to the events page (http://www.shewrites.com/events) and clicking +Add button on the top right of the page. Fill out all the information on the form. When that is done, click Add Event at the bottom. When it prompts you to invite people, invite whoever you want personally, but don’t worry, you don’t have to invite the whole group individually!
Go to the group homepage. Click on the Message the Group button, right below the creator’s picture. That will send your message to the whole group, so write out your invitation there, and make sure to include the link to your event page (to find your event page, go to your She Writes page, and look at the menu below your picture. Click on ‘events’, then click on your event). Unfortunately, you won’t be able to hyperlink the event, so you have to have the full address written out. Click Send Message to send out your invitation.
