Well, life got in the way but I'm still posting on 30 days of forgiveness. Of course, I've figured out it's 30 days that won't be in a row. Gotta cut myself some slack. This has been a very difficult series and I am just now scratching the surface in exploring what it means to forgive so I can heal well.

Peer review and feedback means so much to me so comment away. Nevertheless, here are the links.:

Day One: Pushing past the pain,
Day Two: Stop feeling anger,
Day Three: Stop requirement payment,
Day Four: Give up resentment,
Day Five: Grant a pardon,
Day Six: Release,
Day Seven: Yield,
Day Eight: Sacrifice,
Day Nine: Ascribe,
Day 10: Surrender,
Day 11: No blame, no shame,
Day 12: Awareness,
Day 13: Acceptance,
Day 14: Action,

I'm back! I'm kicking things off on my newly redesigned WordPress blog with a 30-day series on forgiveness. Big developments have happened over the last several months and I just can't keep it to myself any longer. Look forward to your feedback. Thanks in advance!

My entry Booth.docx here, is an inspirational piece for those right at the beginning of their single mothering journey AND a pat-on-the-back for those who've been at it for years on end.

Suicide: Breaking Through

Today marks the seventh anniversary of my husband's funeral AND my cousin's suicide. I've learned the reason for suicide began long before my first attempt and, as it turns out, also is true for my cousin.

I spent 6 years crocheting a beautiful blanket after my second suicide attempt and learned what love is.

Suicide note: Check. Pills: Check. Goodbye cruel world.

This is part two of my three-part series on suicide. This time we visit my second attempt and how deep into the abyss I had fallen before getting back up.

Today is my son's 14th birthday. It is also my husband's 7th birthday ... in Heaven. Today I honor my late husband and talk about the day Edd's music died.
