I'm looking for "goal buddies". I'd love to work with someone who could keep me motivated, and vice versa, when it comes to my writing goals. It doesn't have to be anything hard and fast; anyone can make up their own goals and report to each other, say, every two weeks.
Anyone interested?

I'm in for a goal buddy. I've been working pretty diligently, but I keep discouraged by my inability to find my way out of a scene and around the constant responsibilities of "real life." My goal is to finish studying for the verbal section of GRE by this Saturday and finish writing my short story by Sunday. What are your goals?
Jessie,
I'm going to send you a private message so we can chat! :)
Hey Kyra!! Of COURSE there's room! :)

Okay, so here are my goals for the next two weeks:
- Finish up finessing two short stories for contests
- Write 1,000 words on my novella
- Edit two more pages in my novel (I'm only 35k into it, but I need to modify one character's voice)
- *Maybe* finish writing out scenes for the psychological thriller I've outlined
Those are a lot of goals, but I freelance from home, so this is my job! :) I'm excited to see how I measure up in two weeks. Shall we say the end date for these goals is cinco de Mayo (May 5th)?
And remember (and I'll try to, too!) - this is just for motivation. If we don't meet our goal(s) for the two weeks, there are always the next two weeks!! :) Anyone else want to share their goals?

I'm writing in a variety of genres - don't know why, but I've always been like that, lol. Let's see... my novel is chick-lit, novel #2 for which I'm plotting out scenes is going to be a psychological thriller, my novella is horror, and the novella I'll send out this week is romance! :D My short stories are mainstream, but they tend towards the darker side - so, I guess mainstream with strong psychological elements. Thanks for asking!
What about you?
