A Writing Update on Nadia (book 1)- work in progress

Hi Lidy!

Enjoy your posts, though my challenge is Wordpress. Can’t get an account so that I can comment on friends’ post who use Wordpress.

Anywho… on your latest post I’m going to step out and comment on your synopsis. It caught my eye because I just left a note for another writer (albeit her finished book however) of a similar nature.

To your synopsis I would add more detail. For instance: ‘The lonely witch Nadia is the new girl in town. On pins and needles after years of homeschooling, Nadia starts counting down to the first day of school when “xxx” leaves a note on her bedroom door. ‘Leave town or we will FAN you!’

‘FAN’ you, Nadia wonders? And how had someone entered her home and left this note? Who exactly is ‘we’? Determined to have the normal high school life she’s dreamed of, Nadia has less than two weeks to figure out what’s going on, or she may never walk the pristine hallways of Lyndonburg High School.

On getting fired for wearing jeans instead of a skirt as a babysitter...from the new group of poems about an Illinois commune I lived on as a child. A poem, and notes on summer with the kids.

Today I celebrate Harry Potter's birthday, and JK Rowling's, with 35 of quotes and lines from all 7 magical books. "Happy Birthday Harry Potter!

Please come help me get the word out on my new release! Check out an excerpt here: It's a Sweet Romance Anthology. Thanks! Reviewers are always wanted, if you are interested let me know.

Amazingly, the book I started writing when I joined SheWrites is now available as an ARC! Counting Thyme pubs next April with Penguin, but you can enter to win an advanced reader copy here:

Thanks to everyone who ever spent some time answering my questions here. I hope to repay the favor!
