Today I address why the act of writing is so challenging for kids. I discuss:
- why kids can ace spelling tests but have a spelling train wreck in their essays and papers;
- how to help kids bridge the gap between spelling test and free written work; and
- how to look at their spelling errors to give parents/educators a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
