Links, links and more linky links. I just read a stunning article by Dani Shapiro on memoir writing and children, more specifically, what was written long before the children came or what and how you lay yourself bare with kids in the picture. How many memoirist mother writers do we have?

"...We are not willing to consider the "what if" as long as there is a hint that it might turn out fine. Maybe nothing will happen. They are right, you cannot predict that someone will absolutely self destruct .. but neither can you promise that they won't...." (More here...)

As great as it is to be truly on summer vacation...I am starting to really miss the routine of the school year (for everyone). I miss my blog-reading mornings...my favorite blog writers and having more than a moment or two to dive into words...either mine or yours. I did manage one post this morning...about Lightning and Rocks: http://meaganfrank.wordpress.com/2011/07/20/and-the-lightning-rolls/

The difference between 'arguing' and 'fighting' - some classic 'argument' clips (courtesy of Monty Python), a Psychology Today test on how you argue and some real- life advice...that's what I'm blogging about today - I hope you add your voice!

Grammergency #11: The Dreaded Dangling Participle

Dangling participles have to be one of the most slippery grammatical errors out there. Often when I’m copyediting an otherwise-clean manuscript, I come across one of these little troublemakers out of the blue, and it stops me in my tracks. Today,…See More
