Hi Laura, I enjoyed your post and am now following your blog. I have 3 boys who provide constant material for my blog, www.tryitandyoumay.blogspot.com. I know, I know, it's not a wordpress blog. Will I be flamed in this group? Anyway, perhaps you want to take a peek and see if it interests you. All the best!

At The Fertile Source: Powerful artwork, linoleum monoprints, -x-ray vision, butterflies as artist Elizabeth Sobkiw works with diagnosis of Premature Ovarian Failure (from age 16). I continue to be moved by the fearless manner of our contributors, sharing so much of themselves with us. Sobkiw's images:

What I know about writing I can’t tell you.  Writing is such a personal experience, unique to the consciousness on the other side of the page.

Tell me a story before you go... how asking the dying to tell their stories benefits us all, and how stories are important, to hear, to tell, at all stages of life.

see me in my words

"I draw in the margins, or on my 3 X 5 cards. If I'm going to focus on drawing, I prefer watercolor, colored pencils, or markers, depending on the design. And I like the softer colored pencils better than the hard. "
