Comment by Maggie Daniel Caldwell on May 13, 2012 at 3:01pm Happy Mother's Day everyone!
I posted a piece I wrote several years ago called "Mama Magic" - it's about a magic wand my mother gave me for MY first mother's day and the mileage we got out of it over the years. It's one of my favorite pieces; enjoy!

Comment by Christina Morley on May 10, 2012 at 12:37pm Time Magazine cover Breastfeeding/Attachment Parenting in reply to Sayantani: I was wondering who would bring this topic up first. I even thought about somehow including it in my blog. I breastfed my 3rd child up till age 2, but I didn't see the need to continue after that. I wanted my breasts back, thank you very much! :D I think that child was dressed like a little man, so yes, they certainly were pushing the envelope with the style of photo they chose. But really, once your child is old enough to start talking about your breasts and drinking from them in public is time to think about stopping. Kids can become controling and manipulative if they think their mom is their property. Balance - everything in balance - and I probably give in more than I should. Hey She-Writers: What do you think about the latest Time Magazine cover on Breastfeeding/Attachment Parenting? I found it pretty enraging: http://storiesaregoodmedicine.blogspot.com/2012/05/breast-wars-why-... Would love to hear your thoughts!
