Comment by Anjali Enjeti on May 30, 2012 at 10:13am Hey Writer-Mamas!
I've got a Pinterest board for Summer Writing Prompts for Kids. I'll be posting a new prompt every weekday morning to give kids out of school a chance to exercise their creativity! For more on how to used them, go here.
Take care,
Anjali
I’ve logged eighteen years as a Mom and continue strutting around on wide-wall training wheels. Motherhood doesn’t slide of my body as easily a La Perla slip. It’s feels more like a pair of Levis slipping over hips that have given birth twice, there is a lot of tugging and swearing.

I know it's a crazy weekend, but would love to have you stop by.
The old man at the kiosk, where I stopped to buy a bottle of water, some chocolate, and a blank journal, asked me if I was a writer, a photographer, or simply running from love. It’s an odd question to ask of a traveler, even harder to answer. What would you say?
She Writer Anjali Enjeti has a fab new column on her blog: she's asking writers one question: When Do You Write? My answer -- as someone who Writes while Parenting -- joined the conversation this week. Would love to hear from other SheWriters: When do YOU write? http://shestartedit.wordpress.com/2012/05/24/when-do-you-write-saya...

My parenting book is available free for Kindle tomorrow, May 24 only. One reviewer (I love her) called it "genius." Spread the word, please.
A writer’s climb over the not quite last hurdle, but one of the requirements, kind of like finishing school. The writer’s conference: what I learned wasn’t what I expected to learn.
