I'll be teaching the Writing for Moms class on SheWrites this fall - if anyone is interested. More info if you click on the top menu - new Classes - button. We'll be exploring and writing memoirs about our journeys through motherhood - whether you want to write for publication - a book, a blog, a magazine or just as a keepsake. Email me if you want more info! It's going to be a great class.

I am kid-free for the first time since the end of February when I pulled my twins from preschool and I am finally able to write again (two in preK, two in elementary school). I'm hoping to be on here more regularly again. Just wanted to say, "Hi!"

Do you believe in the power of a liberal arts education or in studying trades?  Please visit my blog and join the conversation.  I bring in William Chace's article "The Decline of the English Department" and discuss the power of studying English Literature.  Please add your voice and perspective...

My blog today is in response to something that happened recently with a family member, and just life in general.  I hope you will read it. "Speak or Hold Your Peace."
