hi all! my first piece of published writing posted today on Literary Mama.  It is exciting for me, if you have time to stop by and read and post a comment on the website that would be so great!  A big thanks to Meg - I think I had read about this website on her blog - it is a great online pub for women!

Hallo! I've never thought of myself as a 'mom blogger' cos I was writing for quite a while before baby came along. But mother writer, yeah I'll go for that :) I think being a mother naturally infuses into my writing.

Other times, it's the full focus of it like in this poem I wrote when I took my daughter to Lake Erie over the summer and she saw the beach for the first time :) What a great experience for me as a mum! It's nice to be here and I'm looking forward to visiting with you all xxx

I do not know the proper way to do this, but I would like to tell you all that my blog is now up.  I have even had some positive feedback!  I wanted to wait until my daughter had all of my photographs up (I am also a photo stylist & artist), but I do not know when that will be.  So, I am hoping that if people like my writing, they will return when the pictures are there.  I humbly announce that you can now read about me at emilykennedyauthor.com.  Thanks, my fellow writers!

In the face of adversity, it's important to be thankful for what we DO have.

The wonderful Leah—from Leah’s Thoughts--tagged me with the seven-link challenge.  I pondered my response but I ask how does a writer pick?  Instead, I challenge the writing community to play the 10/20 Lois Lane, and create a new post based on your own list of loves and hates.  Come along for the ride.
