Comment by Caitlin Shetterly on March 4, 2011 at 2:03pm Hello!
My name is Caitlin Shetterly and I have a new memoir coming out on March 8th from Voice entitled Made for You and Me: Going West, Going Broke, Finding Home. It’s a story about so many things like marriage, parenthood, dreams, food and going west with all the bravado of the Pioneers. But, at its heart, it’s a book and the debilitating effect the Great Recession had on my young, middle class family.
Parts of the story have been featured on NPR and in the New York Times Magazine. I wrote this book for anyone who has felt isolated, ashamed and lonely with the economic and emotional hardships the Recession has wrought.
Here is the video trailer for the book: http://vimeo.com/20626177. If you like it, please consider posting it on your blog - I’m looking to spread the word. Please check out my facebook author page for more info: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Caitlin-Shetterly-Author/276291072609.
Thank you,
Caitlin Shetterly

Comment by E Victoria Flynn on March 4, 2011 at 10:23am Hello Mamas,
I'm sure a lot of you know Kelli Swearingen Rodin. She's welcomed many of you to Mother Writer! and has offered a lot of help to me as one of our Admins.
Lately, I've been focusing my efforts elsewhere and feel I've been letting MW take a back seat. Kelli has agreed to step up and take over as your lead Mother Writer! I'm still around on the periphery, but Kelli is your gal. I'm sure she'll do a terrific job. Please send her a hearty welcome.
Thank you, Kelli!
