Comment by C. L. Kay on December 7, 2011 at 1:51pm Seriously, these historical chapters I'm doing are giving me a rash! Anxiety-inducing. I am trying to push through the discomfort but I find myself getting nowhere today.

Comment by C. L. Kay on November 13, 2011 at 8:34am Try it and see how it goes. You could also do a really close 3rd person POV where the narrator is privy to extra information but also has carte blanche on the character's thoughts and feelings. Or you could alternate between third and first depending on what the scene needs. I'm struggling with Candy's 1st person POV right now, as you know. And I did a really close 3rd person POV in my fourth chapter which I just finished and it seemed to work pretty well. I got to say all the things that needed saying plus got inside the heads of all the characters. I can send it to you if you want.
