I always have certain music I listen to when I write...or I come across music that inspires me and gets the blood pumping. My favorites (and can later get into why) are Ali Fark Toure (with
Ry Cooder) on the "Talking Timbuktu" album. The song "Ai Du" I will play over and over. Check it out on my She Writes page...number 3 I think. I also like Radiohead (sets a certain tone), David Gray, Damien Rice, Jason Mraz...or my little girl's songs she sings to me in our "computer/art" room. Any suggestions or comments please share! I've got poems in mind already and little exercises.
Thanks. Amy Sprague

"Now this is interesting. Summary through dialogue rather than narrative -- way more interesting and lively! Love the photo. We are being drowned out here in Ireland and that beach looks so tempting! Edith x"
