Comment by Shannon Huffman Polson on July 10, 2012 at 3:31pm So...looking for places to submit a new book for nature related writing contests (and actually know nothing about how this works). This is what I found so far- any other ideas? Or tips on how this whole process works? Thanks!

Comment by Shannon Huffman Polson on July 10, 2012 at 8:19am wonderful on all Page, thank you! I will definitely touch base when it's out. And I look forward to reading your book as well!
Yes, Shannon, that would be great. I write occasional essays/book reviews on my blog "All Things Literary. All Things Natural." http://pagelambert.blogspot.com/ So make sure you send me a note when North of Hope comes out. You might enjoy my memoir too, In Search of Kinship: Modern Pioneering on the Western Landscape. It was a Rocky Mountain best-seller when it came out (hardcover 1996, softcover 2001). http://www.pagelambert.com/books.html. Congratulations again on your contract!
Comment by Shannon Huffman Polson on July 10, 2012 at 7:53am thank you Page- I sent him a message and said you'd told me to connect. I appreciate it; he looks like an amazing man and I look forward to reading his book and hopefully meeting all of you one day!
Gary's a great guy - the whole literary community here in the lower West mourned his loss. Feel free to send him a note and tell him Page said hello.
