Hi Annielaural,
Welcome to the group. We post intermittently, but we've had some good discussions on markets in the past. Check the link on good nature publishing and writing (in the discussion forum above) or the older posts on the comment wall.

Comment by Annielaural leFaye on September 2, 2012 at 3:56pm Seems to have been a while since anyone posted here. Maybe summer nature travel got in the way? :)
I'm a short story writer and a creative non-fiction writer. Nature figures as background to most of my work - winter snowstorms, raging spring mountain torrents, lovely Sierra meadows, overhanging strangler figs in the Australian sub tropical rain forest, lyre birds scratching the duff, red bellied black snakes curled across the track, Patagonia in mid-summer..they all figure in my imagination as well as in my writing.
I'm curious about how others use nature successfully in published works...always looking for like minded souls.

Comment by Charlene Logan Burnett on August 8, 2012 at 5:28pm Congrats Page and Adrienne!! I sent in but didn't make it so glad to see you both in there!
Page Lambert and I both have pieces in Sugar Mule's amazingly awesome "Women Writing Nature". Women Writing Nature is available as a pdf download at:
http://www.sugarmule.com/41.htm.
Don't be daunted by Women Writing Nature's 160 poets and essayists.
Contributor names are in alphabetical order in the Table of Contents (TOC), and the TOC's page numbers are hyperlinked directly to each author's poem or essay.
Thanks a great list of book awards, Shannon, thanks for posting it.
Comment by Shannon Huffman Polson on July 10, 2012 at 3:31pm So...looking for places to submit a new book for nature related writing contests (and actually know nothing about how this works). This is what I found so far- any other ideas? Or tips on how this whole process works? Thanks!
