I'd be curious what folks think about how to make this a better/more user friendly place to connect for nature writing! What are people looking for/hoping for?

Hello Amanda,

In reply to your question about online nature writing groups, check out an Australian Nature Writing site that may interest you at http://www.olvarwood.com.au

Another source in the USA for nature writers is at www.naturewriting.com

I'm finding that my blog, "Nature as Art and Inspiration" http://marymageau.wordpress.com is attracting a good following and has introduced me to many others who are fine nature writers and photographers. Blogging is a great way to publish and share your creative work.

Does anyone know of any other Women's Nature Writer groups online?  Places that are frequented often and used for support and encouragement?

Like Amanda, I haven't been on this site in ages (well, since March), and I'm happy to announce that at long last my manuscript, Turning Homeward: Restoring Nature in the Urban Wild, is finally (as in, FINALLY!!!) circulating to publishers and agents. If I can be as successful as Shannon, I'll be more than happy.
