I know there are very many helpful blog posts on writing novels out there, and many of us are writing them. But I do want this group to be a place to chat about that, and I've watched so many groups here devolve into walls of blog posts rather than real interaction and support. So if you've posted something on your blog that is helpful to writers, or found a helpful blog post you'd like to share, please post it here, and let's save the wall for real discussion of writing novels. I just don't have the time to sort out what blog post are helpful and which aren't, so ANY link to a blog post on the wall will be removed, and repeat offenders will be escorted out the group door.
Your gestapo in writing,

Thank you. I'd rather see snippets of blog posts posted to the appropriate discussion group. Or if I do have a blog post about something appropriate, post that where it belongs. (Now if I can only remember all that!)

I enjoy posting to my blog, though I don't get to it every day like I'd like to or should. And I so much appreciate the people who are now following me; let me encourage you to post comments on my blog postings. I can't know if my posts make any difference to anyone but me if I don't get posts. To those who have already commented, my deepest thanks. To those who are shy about commenting - seriously, I want comments: good, bad, or indifferent. Well, not indifferent - what would be the point of that? :)
I remember when I first started this blog, I intended to cover a variety of topics - not necessariy just about the ebooks I am writing and trying to promote (e.g., A SPY AT HOME - available on Amazon - shameless plug). I intended to be interesting, controversial, funny, and informative. I think I've succeeded on most of those fronts; do you agree or disagree?
Please remember to comment. My wife, my daughter, my two cats, and I appreciate any comments you care to make. BLOG ON!
Here's a great article that someone had shared on my Twitter page. More about use of social networking tools.

Hope I posted it correctly. It features advice from Jennifer Weiner, author of In Her Shoes, and who also recently pointed out some disparities between the media coverage of some work by male authors and that of female authors. There's also a great "Frenemy" video about that on Laura Zigler's page.
Hello Meg,
Hope I'm posting this in the right place! Please tell me if I'm not. I wrote a blog post inspired by someone I know from Twitter who is doing NaNoWriMo - 'I wish I'd known this when I wrote my first draft'. This post summarises a few points which may be useful to anyone new to writing who is doing NaNoWriMo.
