Would anyone be interested in trading the first couple of chapters of their novels?  Mine is close to final draft (are they ever truly finished??) and I need fresh eyes on mine before submitting to an editor.  If you're interested, let me know and thanks in advance!

Tanya,

I am also doing rewrites on final draft (and no I don't think they're finished until they're published and only because you're no longer able to edit!). Mine is paranormal as well.

Would love to trade couple of chapters.  Hit me at dfwfreelancer@gmail.com

Will do!  I'm at iLopeAlong@gmail.com

Hi, Deb and Tanya, maybe you both are covered, but I just saw this. I am ready to share some work too... my book has a paranormal character, (but not a classic paranormal genre). If either of you want to share some pages , let me know, I'd love to get some feedback and see yours. Ellen at horanel@aol.com

Yes- I would be interested.

Hi all,

Have not received anything from Tonya yet.

What do you think of the four of us having our own temporary mini-critique group?  All four of us exchange pages and offer feedback on each?  And, say, commit to get back all within 2 weeks?  That may seem a long time, but in the course of life 3 critiques takes a bit of time.  Also for me, I'm finishing up 2 critiques for another of my writing groups.

Will also send this via email.  Looking forward to getting your feedback and giving you mine.

Deb

Deb, I sent you an email, but yes, this sounds good to me.

Hi Tanya

My apologies.  I just found your initial email from yesterday, with pages attached.  Will forward mine to both you and Kathleen (and Ellen if she responds) by Thursday.

Anticipatory!

Hi, I think I need to do a one-at-a-time at the moment. I left a writing group because multiple submissions were too much reading while  I am nearing deadline with my editor and agent. If you don't mind, I would like to take advantage of you readers, but one-at-a time. I'm a pretty fast reader, so will turn over quickly. I find that at this stage it's too confusing for me to have too many drafts circulating (my own and yours simultaneously) -- so I will respond to submissions one at a time . Many Thanks Ellen.

OK, Ellen.  Completely understand

If you're still looking for a reader, I'd be glad to read.

Kathleen,

I'm good for now. Thanks for offer.

Deb

I'm writing a Paranormal/Romance that I plan to publish late next year. I could give it a thorough crit if you like?

bidelia78@yahoo.com, just let me know in the email that you're from SW.
